» Student Employment Information
Thank you for your interest in student employment in the UCI Libraries. The Libraries hire student assistants each quarter during the academic year and during the summer in various departments in the Langson Library, the Science Library and the Medical Center Library. During the academic year, the Libraries employ as many as 500 students.

This bulletin is updated regularly to reflect positions open in each academic quarter.
Job applications may be completed and submitted online as well. The application may be accessed at: https://studentapps.lib.uci.edu:5021/student/
Please fill out the application completely and indicate the hours you are available to work for the quarter. Review of your application will be delayed if you do not provide complete schedule information. Once you have completed your application, click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the second page. You should receive a notice back indicating that your application has been received.
Individuals with disabilities will be given reasonable accommodation in the application, interview and employment process upon request.
Library supervisors with open positions will review applications on file during the quarter until their open positions are filled. Once the supervisors have identified qualified candidates, they will contact the candidates directly to schedule an interview time. We are unable to tell you when a supervisor will contact you or if your application has been screened for qualifications.
The Library Human Resources Office discards applications at the end of each quarter because class schedules change from quarter to quarter. Interested applicants must file a new application each quarter when class schedules are finalized.
